Mediahub Zuidoost is an initiative by Sparks Impact in collaboration with the Municipality of Amsterdam, developed as the vibrant hub for media makers in Amsterdam Zuidoost. This space is designed for both established and emerging creators who want to grow in their craft and expand their network. Whether you’re into podcasts, film, radio, or social content: the Mediahub offers the space, tools, and community to help you develop your talent.

The hub, with professional facilities, is being built in the heart of Reigersbos, inside the Poortgebouw. From autumn 2025, it will open a premium location with high-end podcast and film studios, flexible workspaces, and a lively meeting spot for creatives. Mediahub Zuidoost fosters cross-pollination between traditional media (like radio and TV) and a new generation of contemporary creators.

The strength of Mediahub lies in its connections, professionalization, and long-term development. It will act as a central node within a broader media network across Zuidoost, connecting to other creative locations such as Het Zandkasteel (home to Omroep Zwart and FunX) and OBA Next in Kraaiennest.

Mediahub Zuidoost provides space for experimentation, talent development, and collaboration. It’s a place where makers inspire one another and collectively build a more inclusive and future-proof media sector—from the heart of Amsterdam Zuidoost to the rest of the city and beyond.
